Choosing The Best Doctor For You
Our physicians and medical professionals provide medical referral services for our patients. Our goal is to meet every need possible while also understanding that there are special, unique challenges that we may not always be able to help you conquer on our own. It is during those times that we will refer you to a trusted specialist that you can collaborate with for further testing and assistance. Meanwhile, we also assist other physicians with referrals to our specialists.
Referral Services
There are times when your physician will need to refer you to see another specialist, both within and outside of Lifespan providers. Being referred means there may be issues that are outside of your provider’s expertise, or a problem exists that requires treatment from another specialization of medicine.
By using the referral services of Lifespan, doctors may send their patients to other specialists while we facilitate communication between physicians, ensuring that everyone is in agreement. Furthermore, we assist with scheduling appointments, obtaining medical records.
